|| Time’s Imagery ||

I saw a flurry of bubbles, colours and movement
An outline that coming into focus became absent
An agitation that shimmered against a backlight
With all hues of flesh colours in shades of delight

There was music in the air, of tiny droplets singing
In a shower against the silence, else, of everything
A warm stream that mingled with foam in rhyme
The clock on the wall ticked away its sweet chime

Water, bubbles and vapour played hide and seek
A black snake slithered – naked, undulating, meek
Caressing with craving a figurine sheathed in mire
Of streams coursing around the temples of desire

Do I imagine all this when you go behind the glass,
Take a shower, leaving me to let time slip and pass ||
